NVYLL Playoffs (end of season) – Mid-June

Team Placement Northern Virginia Youth Lacrosse League has three conferences A for advanced players, B for intermediate players, and C for novice/beginning players.  Younger age levels only have two levels; A for advanced/intermediate and B for novice/beginners.  We will have teams for all age groups and most conference levels. Team placement philosophy: Players are placed on teams using all information available. The most important step in player placement is current year evaluations and tryouts.  Please make every effort to attend.  Missing evaluation/tryouts will make it difficult for the league to appropriately place the player.

A Team Commitment: Playing on an A level requires a higher level of commitment from both players and parents. Teams will practice 3 times a week (versus 2) and players are expected to make lacrosse their top extracurricular activity during the season.  Players and their parents must understand and agree to the additional commitment prior to evaluations.  Players who intend to participate in other extracurricular activities which conflict with lacrosse practices and games should not try out for the A team.
